The first batch of M1A2T tanks containing thirty-eight tanks, purchased by Taiwan from the United States, was unloaded at Taipei Port on the early morning of the 16th of December. They were then transported by heavy-duty trailers to the Army Armored Corps Training Command. The tanks were offloaded later around 8 a.m., marking the first time this type of tank was revealed publicly in Taiwan.
